Goals

My goals, for my Bachelor´s education, are mostly getting more general British accent. Although I personally like my own accent, I understand that to teach, one must lead by example. I hope to achieve that by attending and doing well in Phonetics and Phonology class and speaking with my classmates whose English will hopefully also get better and we might all start emulating each other.

Furthermore, I would like to get better at writing, which might involve writing more in my leisure time and also writing more essays for school. I would be glad if my tendency to write letters out of order disappeared or at least diminished.

At last, I would like to start reading more classical literature in English and maybe read some of my favourite books in the language they were published in. There is always something more to discover in stories if you read them in the language they were first written.

My goals from previous semester still stand, especially regarding my accent, that has not improved by much. But I have been speaking less than in my last semester, due to my sister being my main conversation partner and currently not available. So, I would love to work on that some more, possibly by getting some listening in general British accent.

On the other hand, my writing has improved by essentially writing more, so I will continue with that, although my letters still sometimes jump around.

I have read few more paper books in English, but also needs bit more time and dedication, I find that reading poetry works for me and is a good way to encounter new vocabulary, so I will keep doing that.
